Prepare the Backlink Foundation
Make the public-facing submission snapshot complete before automation uses it.
01What the foundation does
Backlink submission readiness uses the Public presence details from the Website Profile as its single source of truth. It prepares the consistent website, category, contact, description, and product material used when an external submission workflow needs your site information.
02Complete missing fields first
Open the Backlink Foundation tab in the Workspace. If fields are missing, follow the links back to the Website profile, complete them, and save. A dirty Website Profile cannot be refreshed or confirmed until the changes are saved.
03Refresh and confirm a version
Choose Refresh from Website Profile after the source profile is ready, then review the generated snapshot. Confirm profile only when the values are correct. A confirmed version is the version external backlink submission automation is allowed to use.
04When the snapshot becomes stale
Changing the Website Profile can make the submission snapshot need re-confirmation. Refresh it from the latest saved profile and confirm the new version instead of assuming an older snapshot still represents your site.
