Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of RanklyBee, including its website, application, Projects, and related services.

Last updated: October 14, 2026

About the Service

RanklyBee is a software service operated by Big Whale Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom, for website, SEO, content, AI visibility, backlink, outreach, and lead-finding workflows. Features may include website analysis, Site Profiles, content planning, generation, and improvement, approval and CMS publication, Search Console reporting, AI visibility tracking, a curated Featured Backlinks library, assisted backlink submissions through a browser extension, backlink monitoring, prospect research, contact verification, email outreach, community lead monitoring with suggested replies, and access through an API and MCP server. Features, limits, providers, and availability may change as the Service evolves.

Eligibility and Authority

You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement and meet the minimum age required by the laws that apply to you. If you use RanklyBee for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms and to provide the information and permissions used in the relevant Project.

Accounts and Projects

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, protecting your sign-in credentials and API keys, and all activity performed through your account or Project permissions. Project owners and administrators are responsible for inviting members, assigning appropriate roles, and removing access when someone no longer needs it. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Customer Content and Permissions

You retain ownership of the text, files, URLs, website information, contact information, credentials, and other material you submit or connect to RanklyBee. You grant RanklyBee the limited license needed to host, copy, transmit, analyze, transform, and display that material to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service as described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights, notices, permissions, and lawful basis needed for Customer Content, including content about third parties and information sent to connected services. Do not submit material you are not authorized to use.

AI-Generated Results

RanklyBee may generate drafts, summaries, classifications, scores, recommendations, and other outputs. These outputs can contain errors, omissions, unsupported statements, or outdated information and may be similar to outputs generated for other users. You must review, fact-check, edit, and approve outputs before publishing, sending, or relying on them. You are responsible for the final content and for checking intellectual-property, privacy, advertising, accessibility, and sector-specific requirements.

Integrations and External Actions

You may connect Google Search Console, Gmail, another mailbox over SMTP and IMAP, a CMS, a webhook, or another supported service. By connecting one, you authorize RanklyBee to use the permissions and data needed for the workflow you select, subject to the connected provider’s terms. Some workflows may publish content, send email, create or update records, or fetch public pages. Review each action and its destination before enabling it. RanklyBee does not control external services, their availability, their policies, their indexing decisions, or changes made after data leaves RanklyBee. Disconnecting an integration stops future access where supported but may not undo external actions or delete data already copied into another service.

API, MCP, and AI Assistants

You may connect an AI assistant or other client to RanklyBee through the MCP server, or use API tokens with your own tools. You choose the permissions each client receives. Anything a connected client does with those permissions, including creating, changing, publishing, or sending, is treated as done by you, and you are responsible for reviewing what an AI assistant does on your behalf. Keep API tokens secret and revoke any you no longer use. Third-party clients are governed by their own terms, and RanklyBee is not responsible for how they handle data they retrieve. API and MCP use counts toward your plan limits, and we may rate-limit or suspend access that is abusive or puts the Service at risk.

Browser Extension and Assisted Submissions

The RanklyBee browser extension fills in submission forms on third-party sites using the profile details you confirmed, and waits for you to review the page and confirm before anything is submitted. You are responsible for each submission, for the accuracy of the details submitted, and for following the terms and listing rules of the site you submit to. The extension does not bypass CAPTCHA, multi-factor checks, or payment steps; those are handed back to you. RanklyBee does not guarantee that a site will accept, publish, or keep a listing or link.

Acceptable Use

You must use the Service lawfully and responsibly. You may not use it to violate another person’s rights, send unlawful or deceptive communications, distribute malware, phish, scrape or expose sensitive personal information without authorization, bypass security or rate limits, interfere with the Service, reverse engineer protected components, impersonate another person, or access another Project without permission.

Email and Outreach Compliance

You are responsible for every recipient list, sender identity, message, follow-up, and external action created or sent through RanklyBee. You must comply with applicable privacy, marketing, anti-spam, telemarketing, consumer-protection, and platform rules; use accurate sender information; honor opt-outs and suppression requests; and avoid purchased links, link schemes, private blog networks, bulk irrelevant outreach, or misleading claims. RanklyBee may pause, block, or route activity for review when signals indicate abuse, policy risk, missing permission, or an unhealthy sender. RanklyBee does not provide legal advice or guarantee delivery, replies, placements, rankings, traffic, or revenue.

Leads and Community Replies

The Leads feature finds public posts on community and social platforms and may suggest replies. RanklyBee does not post for you. If you use a suggested reply, you are responsible for what you post and for following the rules of the platform and community where you post it, including rules on self-promotion and disclosure of your connection to a product. Do not use the Service to spam, post misleading or undisclosed promotional replies, impersonate others, run multiple accounts to evade platform rules, or harass people. Do not use collected posts or author details for purposes unrelated to responding to that conversation.

Plans, Subscriptions, Credits, and Payment

If paid plans, subscriptions, credits, or one-time purchases are offered, the price, currency, billing interval, trial terms, included limits, and other commercial terms shown at checkout or in the applicable order govern that purchase. Plans include usage quotas, and features may stop or be limited when a quota is reached. Subscriptions renew at the stated interval until canceled through the available billing controls or payment provider. Cancellation normally prevents a future renewal and does not by itself refund a completed charge. Payments are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. Where that provider acts as the merchant of record, it is the seller for that purchase and its terms also apply to payment, tax, and invoicing. Unless required by law or expressly stated at checkout, fees are non-refundable and unused time, usage, or credits are not redeemable for cash. Credits, if offered, may be subject to the expiration and usage rules shown in the Service. You authorize the payment provider to charge the selected payment method and are responsible for applicable taxes and accurate billing information.

Intellectual Property

RanklyBee and its licensors own the Service, software, templates, interfaces, branding, documentation, and materials we provide, excluding Customer Content and third-party materials. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your permitted access. You may not copy, resell, lease, frame, or create a competing service from protected parts of the Service except where applicable law or an open-source license allows it. If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.

Confidentiality and Security

Each party should protect non-public information received from the other using reasonable care and use it only for the relationship. This obligation does not cover information that is public without breach, already known without a duty, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law. You remain responsible for deciding what confidential information to place in a Project and for configuring member and integration access appropriately.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or suitable for your particular purpose. We do not guarantee search rankings, indexing, traffic, brand visibility, mentions or citations in AI search tools, backlink or listing availability, email deliverability, replies, leads, publication results, or revenue. Information and outputs are not professional, legal, financial, medical, or compliance advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RanklyBee and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the fees you paid to RanklyBee for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount that applicable law requires. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service or request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, a Project, or a feature if you materially breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay, misuse an integration, or use the Service in a way that may harm others or the Service. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice where practical, but may act immediately when needed to protect people, systems, or third-party providers. After termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should continue, including payment obligations, ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute-related provisions, will continue.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from them or from the Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live, and you keep any mandatory protections of that country’s law. Before starting a formal claim, contact support@ranklybee.com so we can try to resolve the issue with you.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, providers, or business practices. We will post the revised Terms and update the Last updated date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the Service and contact us about any active paid service.
