01Run one check or check the site
In the Backlink Overview table, use Check backlink now on one row, or Check up to 10 to check a batch for the site. Checks inspect the public source page and save the observed link, anchor text, rel attributes, and evidence details.
02Compare expected and observed values
The details view shows the observed link and anchor, check evidence, and the latest matching Search Console data when available. A live result means the expected target and conditions matched at the time of the check.
03Know what a check cannot prove
A check is a time-stamped observation. It does not guarantee that a publisher will keep the link, that a page will remain accessible, or that the placement will improve rankings. Use the check history to understand change over time.
