01Select the competitor sources
Open Competitor Backlinks and choose from the suggested competitor domains or enter the available selections. The discovery run accepts up to eight competitor domains and evaluates their external linking pages for possible relevance to your site.
02Start the provider-backed search
Choose a goal and start competitor discovery. This workflow requires both the Outreach AI provider and DataForSEO configuration. If either capability is unavailable, the page explains that discovery cannot start yet.
03Do not copy a competitor blindly
A page linking to a competitor is only a lead. Read the page, confirm the publisher and audience fit, inspect the evidence, and decide whether your product has a credible reason to be included before preparing outreach.
