Prospect discovery is blocked or stalled
Separate provider configuration, search failures, and a normal background run.
01Check the required foundation
Keyword discovery needs a connected Site, a usable profile, and the configured Outreach AI provider. Competitor backlink discovery additionally needs DataForSEO. The page exposes the missing provider state when the run cannot start.
02Read the progress panel
A run can continue in the background after its initial pass has promoted prospects. Review candidates, crawled pages, qualified results, failed queries, and the stop reason. Saved opportunities remain available when some search sources cannot be reached.
03Adjust future settings
Use Prospects → Settings to review market, language, Domain Rating range, and page types. Settings apply to future searches only. They do not retroactively rewrite existing opportunities.
04Retry only after identifying the cause
If the job failed because a provider or site was unavailable, fix that dependency before starting another run. If only some sources failed and qualified opportunities were saved, review the saved evidence before launching a duplicate search.
